It is getting extremely difficult to deliver good quality seo works to deserving clients.

I’m still skeptical over whether google can really classify “bad” or “low quality” links using an algorithm. We know they took down and infiltrated the blog networks manually, but I think Penguin is more about your anchor profile and how optimised your site is for keywords. I’ve seen plenty of sites which tons of low quality, blog network links that survived both Penguin updates by focusing 90% on brand.com anchor. In my opinion, I find it hard to believe that Google can ever penalise you for building brand.com anchor links, even if they are from low quality sources, because it makes it appear as though you arn’t spamming any keywords.

By: Mr Dusty... I enjoyed learning proper SEO link diversity for Keywords like Armani Watches. https://cognitiveseo.com/blog/876/link-building-experts-google-penguin/#comment-2674 Sun, 12 Aug 2012 17:41:52 +0000 http://cognitiveseo.com/blog/?p=876#comment-2674 I have really learned a lot about how to do proper link building and link diversity from this post. I would like to add something I have learned from another source as well. That is a 60-30-10 mix of anchor text. 60% = URL and generic (like “click here” or “Check This”), 30% with broad based text that includes the anchor text (Find out about “Green Cars”) Green Cars being the optimized word, and lastly 10% actual anchor text (“Green Cars” or whatever word you are attempting to optimize.)! Obviously a LOT of changes have been made… Some VERY hurtful!

Good Luck Everyone

Mr Dusty

Best thing I find is if you put in Search engine to Google Dog pile is the first result!!

I find it more rewarding to simply combine tips from all marketers and follow them instead of speculating on which factor is actually the cause of Penguin penalties.

Experience tells us that one link from a site with high authority is better than 10 from low quality or spammy resources. I would say that spending more time on quality relationships for link building is time better spend than trying to get your old spammy links removed.
